How to use Divisions for League Management

Divisions can be configured in many ways, but typically it will be by skill level or groups.  Below are some typical ways to manipulate divisions to make your league work and look great.

Basic Divisional League based on skill level or age grouping

Each skill level or age group would be given its own division and they are placed in the Display Order of most appropriate display.  For example, for the English Premier Soccer League, 3 divisions Premier Division, First Division and Second Division.  Another example wopuld be for a minor league association where divisions might be U18 Comp, U18 Rec, U14 Comp, U14 Rec ... etc.

Round Robin Group Play with Elimination (Knock-out) Rounds

Each Group would be a separate division and the knockout round would be a division on its own.  Teams would be linked to the appropriate group division only and when they qualify for the knockout round are then added to that division.  The schedules are entered for each division separately and the knockout round schedule can be created using the provided placeholder teams or the provided TBD (To Be Determined) team placeholders.
