What Sports can use this site?

The site is currently configured for Soccer, Volleyball, Squash, Hockey, Football, Lacrosse, Houseleague Ladders, and a simplistic baseball league.  InterGlobal will add to this list as new leagues show interest in the system and we make feature enhancements to satisfy new leagues and new customers.

What if I find a bug?

This site is fairly large and complex and no doubt has some bugs in it...that is the nature of software, however, InterGlobal really does want to hear about them.  Bugs in the sportleague web site can be reported to request@sportleagues.ca and we will compile the list and let everyone know when and if they will be fixed.

Some of the images on the site have a strange background box on them?

Yes, the site is designed as a showcase item for InterGlobal and therefore we strive to use the latest technologies.  This has some inadvertant disadvantages that older browsers sometime display the site slightly differently.  These background boxes are likely the fact that you are using a slightly older or non-mainstream browser and we have utilized 24-bit png images for greate transparent effects.  Our quick solution is to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2, Safari 3 etc.

The Standings are not updated yet, but I reported my score several hours/days ago?

The standings are NOT automatically posted when you submit them.  A review process occurs between your submission and the score being accepted.  As in most leagues this is on a volunteer basis, I suggest sending a friendly reminder to the league manager might be enough.

I scored a goal 2 games ago and it is not showing?

Unfortunately not all score reporters are as thourough as we would like and therefore each team must report the scores alongs with the scoring statistics.

I would like to write a commentary for the games, how do I do that?

Simply fill out a score report and the commentary box will be included in the commentary for the game.  Unfortunately at this time several fields on the score report screen are mandatory, so you will have to completely fill it out, including any rankings that are desired?

How Can I Help?

Volunteers to help with many things within each league are always welcome.  League administrators, forum moderators, executive members, testers, champions, and people who have nothing else to do but sit on the forums and answer questions are all needed.  The pay is not great, but the networking and socializing is great :).

How do I become a member?

Only registered players in each league may become members and only after a legitimate email address has been supplied in the player profile by either the team captain or to a league manager.  To become a member, simply go to /sportleagues/Users/CreateAccount.aspx and enter your desired login and your email address.  A password will be generated for you and sent to you in your email.  Login and change your password

How do I change my password?

After you have successfully logged in, choose "change password" from the Members menu item at the top.  You must enter the current password before entering a new password twice.

I did not receive the membership creation email?

It is possible that your email address was not entered into your player profile by the team manager.  You must have a valid email already in the system before you can create a login and password.  Contact your team manager or the league manager.

I forgot my Password?

Simply click on the forgot my password link on the login screen, enter your username and the password will be sent to you in your email

Why should I update my Player Profile?

Your player profile is now used across each league you play in.  Each member has only one login and their profile allows them to benefit from the

What is the community for?

The community is a way that league participants can interact outside the games and can build a sense of commodary through friendly banter.  With photo galleries, forums, blog posts etc...the community becomes an important communication tool to all league members outside the team managers and league executive.

I only want to see the forums for the league(s) I play in?

each forum group can be hidden by members by clicking on the arrow icon beside the group name.  This setting is memorized and will stay that way until you choose otherwise (or get a new computer).

How do we add photos to the photo Gallery?

At this time photos can only be added by system administrators, but they are more than willing to help you out if you have put in an effort to provide some great photos.  Simply send a quick email to the league manager or the sportleagues.ca administration and the photos will be reviewed and uploaded.
